I should read more
but I'd rather point and click and stare at my screen.
And I should turn some pages
but I'd rather advance to the Iron Ages
and give thanks to what Bill Gates has given me.
I'm not saying I don't read at all
but most my paper books are paperweights
except the Boy Kings of Texas,
my Bible, and The Things They Carried, sometimes.
But one day, when my hands are crippled and my feet turn into stone
my computer dies, but I still got my eyes, while feeling brittle in my bones,
then I will read them all.
